The axes of two parallel tubes of the optical teaching attachment lie in parallel planes. The end of the first tube is positioned in the area of the operating field and the end of the second tube is positioned at a remote point. The other ends of the two tubes are adjacent one another. They are connected together by tubular connections whose axes are normal to the axes of the two tubes and permit rotation through 360 deg. of the connections and second tube about the axis of the first tube, of the first and second tube about the axis of the connections and of the second tube about its own axis.
