Reinforced rubber pipe high pressure fluid feed - has outer protection of woven polyamide braids on woven glass fibre braids

The reinforced flexible pipe withstands high temp. and is for utilisation in high pressure fluid distribution lines. The pipe has a synthetic rubber core tube with a double external reinforcing sheath. The prim. layer of the sheath is of woven glass fibre braids, the sec. layer is of a similar construction but of polyamide, and the two layers are fitted tightly on the core tube. The tube itself may be reinforced by embedded textile braids. The ends of the pipe may include metal connectors affording internally threaded sockets. The connector may have a spigot with external circumferential saw-tooth ribs, and which is forced into the end of the pipe. The socket ma may be formed after the connector is mounted on the polyamide layer and may be externally hexagonal.
