Modular design for interior decoration - uses large number of small rectangles with relief moulded design to build composite picture

Designs for friezes or other forms of interior decoration are composed from a large number of modules or small rectangles of equal size. Each rectangle has a design moulded in relief and each type can be used as a mould to produce a similar design with mirror image symmetry. A large scale pattern is built up by placing these separate rectangles next to one another in adjoining rows. The designs may include abstract geometrical figures or stylised pictures of people, animals, birds etc.
