A child's seat is supported from the lower ends of chains and a lever including upper and lower anchor points is provided and pivotally supported at its upper anchor point from a support member for angular displacement of the lever about a horizontal axis disposed forward of an upstanding plane containing the anchor members to which the seat chains are secured. When the lever hangs free from its upper anchor point the lower anchor point is spaced below and appreciably rearward of the upper anchor point. The lever includes a depending pull member which is secured at its upper end to the lower anchor point of the lever.
