ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe invention concerns improvements to atmosphericcooling plants used for cooling corrosive liquids capable of pre-cipitating deposits on the walls. The walls are protected bysmooth waterproof cloths made preferably of glass fibre-reinforc-ed polyester coated with polyvinyl chloride, the cloths aresuspended from spars supporting the ceiling of the enclosure,and are constantly moved by the air blown into the enclosure, sothat incrustations are detached and fall into the basin of cooledliquid. The invention allows cooling of such liquids with opti-mum efficiency without risk of corrosion or of accidents topersonnel.
