Fixture for mounting squeegee in holder - determines width of squeegee due to projection from holder

Fixture (2) for mounting a squeegee blade (13) in a holder (1) has a flat surface (12) on to which the blade is clamped. Prior to clamping the edge of the blade due to be the free edge of the squeegee is brought into abutment with a shoulder (14) of the fixture. The portion of the blade due to be clamped in the holder projects from a gauge surface (10) of the fixture, i.e. the portion inside the fixture corresponds exactly to the portion due to project from the holder. During transfer of the blade from the fixture to the holder, the gauge surface is engaged with latter.
