The spotlight with its body supported on a base (10) so that it can be tilted about a horizontal axis (12), has the bulb (8) fitted into a holder (1) at the rear, behind a Fresnel ring (2). This reflects the light forwards from behind the lamp. In front of the housing is a Fresnel ring (5) which focuses the beam forwards. This ring is supported at the ends of a number of rods (4) which project beyond the edge of the lamp housing. These rods are cranked, and the ring can slide along their extremities for focusing.
