Room dividing and insulating partitioning - use slotted aluminium columns tensioned against ceiling to retain panels with resilient seals

The systems of partitioning uses vertical supports in the form of square aluminium columns (1) with a groove (4) down two opposite sides for the edges of the panels. Bolts (3) are inserted in the tops of the columns to tension them against the ceiling. The panels can be of wood, chipboard etc., with a decorative layer each side. This may be of plastics, lightweight concrete, etc. The edges of panels can incorporate keyhole slots which can receive headed pegs or bolts projecting from adjacent panels to form a connection. The partitioning system can have openings in which doors and windows can be incorporated.
