Manual or electrically operated potato peeler - has slow moving peeler blade passing along rotating potato

The potato is placed lengthwise on a rotating knife so that when the crank handle is turned the potato rotates past an adjoining peeler blade which slowly moves to one side. This peeler blade is held against the potato by a spring so that the peel leaves the potato spirally in one piece. On releasing the lock of the rotary thread at the end of the peeling process the appts. returns to its original position. The appts could be provided with an electric motor. The appts. is held in place by a table clamping unit or suction feet or the like.
