The mortar trough for laying a bed of mortar on a wall course can be used on any type of wall from baked earth to concrete. The box (1) has pulling handles (3), width guides (4), grooving blocks (5) and is pulled along the wall (7) in any direction. The weight of the mortar in the box and the internal level guides are sufficient to give a consistent mortar bed thickness.
