Nuclear power station waste water system - divided into several grouped water circuits for recycling or disposal

System is split into several, pref. four, water circuits, depending on the degree of radioactive contamination and the degree of possible retention. Each circuit has its own cleaning plant and recirculation system where a decision is made whether to recirculate the effluent or to pass it into a disposal plant for liq or gaseous disposal. The result is an optimum utilisation of the industrial water. The pollution of the environment by immission is minimised so that nuclear power stations are not confined any more to the coastline or to large river sites.
