The coal or mineral dressing plant is laid out on a single level in a building with a floor area of regular symmetrical shape. The optimum shape of floor area is a circle with the central energy supply tower in the centre. From the tower supply lines for electric power, water and air lead in ray shape to the consumer points. The consumer points comprise the heavy medium plant, the desludging plant the wash water plant, the settling machine plant, the filter plant, the flotation plant, the nut classifying plant and loading installation, a bunker, the pre- classifying plant and the pressing plant. There is a circular road running inside the plant perimeter with lateral roads and longitudinal roads with access to a road system.
