Lacquer roller for printing process - uses changeable roller with surface elastomer coating to suit specific printing requirement

The roller system used for the deposition of lacquer on paper in printing is designed to allow ease of changeover. The roller is mounted on a spindle with a drive gear located at one end. The surface of the roller has an elastomer coating over a part section to suit the particle print process. A locknut screws onto one end to force the roller against a shoulder to provide retention the roller is keyed to the inner sleeve in order to transmit rotary motion. Changeover is readily accomplished by removal of the locknut. The surface elastomer coating is different for each print operation.
