Automatic feed system for snapshot viewer - uses cassette with sliding half and flaps lifting snapshots in turn from stack to viewing position

The viewer for snapshots or slides uses a cassette (11) containing a stack of snapshots which is inserted into an opening in the casing of the viewer so that each snapshot is viewed in turn by sliding one end (14) of the cassette in and out. The cassette consists of two parts, the inner part (14) holding the stack, and the outer part remaining inside the viewer. The outer part incorporates two pairs of spring-loaded flaps (32), one pair behind the other, so that as the inner part is pulled out, the bottom snapshot is extracted from the stack and swung upwards against an opening around the top surface (26) into a viewing position. When the inner part is pushed in again, the snapshot is returned to the top of the stack. The next snapshot is then ready for viewing.
