TRIPLE VACCINE MADE BY ADDING TETANUMMTOXOID AND DIPHTHERIAATOXOID TO PERTUSSIS HA FRACTION

PURPOSE:Title triple vaccine that is composed of cells of Homophilus pertussis, in which the endotoxin, LPF and HSF are reduced or deactivated, tetranus-toxoid and diphtheria-toxoid, thus showing reduced side-effects. CONSTITUTION:The I-phase mold of Homophilus pertussis (vaccine mold) is cultured and the culture filtrate is fractionated using ammonium sulfate and subjected to sucrose density-ingredient centrifugation to reduce largely the endotoxin, LPF and HSF to 1/5 level of that of conventional vaccine. Then, the LPF and HSF remaining in the product mainly containing fractions which are active on HA are deactivated with formaldehyde. Tetanus-toxoide and diphtheriatoxiod are added to the fraction to produce said triple vaccine with reduced toxicity through mass-production processes. The side-effects of conventional triple vaccine is through to be caused by pertussis vaccine and the treatment according to the present invention inhibits the side-effects.
