Brick sorting installation for firing furnace - sorts and stacks after firing using bar pushing top layer on lifting device onto intermediate transporter

Bricks are stacked in a firing furnace in an established pattern. Sizes are chosen to fill the furnace to its max. capacity. The various sizes and types are sorted automatically after firing by a computer-controlled transporter system. The fired bricks are stacked on a lifting device which raises the stack one row at a time. A bar pushes the top layer onto an intermediate transporter, where gripping assemblies equipped with tongs, pick up the individual bricks and place them on the appropriate transporter taking them to the correct storage pile.
