The bearing has pockets in the bearing surface fixed to a housing, supplied with liquid under pressure, and preceded by throttles reacting to the pressure in them. The bearing in the housing comprises a bearing bush enclosed by an outer bush (4). For each of the pockets (2) there is a stepped recess (9), closed on three sides, in the outside of the inner bush, connected on the fourth side to an annular groove (5) supplying the liquid. The throttle (3) is formed by the first step in the recess and the inside of the outer bush. At the end of the throttle gap is a step forming a deepened portion, connected by a bore (10) to the pocket, while other bores (18) connect also a second deepened portion to the pocket, this second portion forming a pressure chamber (11) of large area.PS.
