Requirements of small coefficient of expansion and good heat and dampness insulation are optimally fulfilled by a dry underfloor in a large-area hangar-type structure, such as sports hall. It comprises a layer of bitumised insulating panels (4), laid in double cruciform pattern, with glued chipboard panels (5) laid on them. Galvanised steel sheet is cemented onto these, with synthetic resin adhesive. More chipboard panels (a), with tongue and groove bonding, are laid on this, the other way, and stapled through to the first chipboard panels with clamps (12) through the steel sheet.
