Cyanide alkaline and acid gold baths containing brightening additions, for the electrodeposition of gold dispersion coatings which contain solid lubricants, characterised in that they contain 10-200 g/l of a solid lubricant of a particle size = 0.1-5 mu m and 1-30 g/l of at least one isoalkyl sulphate which is soluble in acid and alkaline aqueous gold baths.
