摘要
The wing consists of a spar and a profile cowling. The spar is formed by a mast, extending along the wing axis, to which are secured profiled strips by triangular gusset plates. The cowling abuts the profiled strips and is connected to the same. Pref. the gusset plates are in the shape of a right-angles triangle. The profiled strips extend orthogonally to the mast and their length corresponds to the wing width. Alternately their length may equal the double width of the wing. The profile cowling may consist of two half-shells. Alternately it may be in one piece. Part of the spar may be of plastics, while other part may be of metal. The cowling may be of plastics or of light sheet metal. The wing of this design combines high precision, required by wind driven machines, with simple construction.
