The system is for a rail vehicle with gas springs, forming a secondary system. On each axle bearing are one or more springs (1-8) consisting of a combined elastic and gas spring, and the pressure chambers of these springs are connected to those of the secondary springs (9,10). The sum of the effective areas of the primary springs can be equal to that of the secondary ones, and the elastic portions of the primary springs can be arranged to support the weight of the bogie frame and the components fixed to it.
