The microorganism Arthrobotrys robusta 'Antipolis', esp. the strain Pasteur Institute no 1158-77, is a new nematophagic species. Process for controlling growth of nematodes in mycoculture, esp. of the mushroom Agaricus bisporus, comprises introducing this new microorganism into the growing compost. Compost contg. 1 wt.% A. bisporus and 1 wt.% A. robusta 'Antipolis' is also claimed. The 'Antipolis' strain produces 4 times more capture organo than the type, so is a more successful predator. It is compatible with compost ingredients and does not inhibit the growth of the mushrooms.
