The hot air generator has a fan discharging air from a heater having one or more electrical resistances. The power consumed by the heater is delivered to it by a regulator controlled by a heating programmer. This has a temperature sequence unit operating in stages with several successive temperature thresholds, and modifying the signal from an ambient temperature probe. This produces a control pattern for the regulator, and the threshold values are automatically operated in sequence by an impulse generator. This is actuated by a clock at pre-set times.
