The copact one man vehicle suitable for two use, is shaped to support the driver in a seated position in front of a single rear wheel, with his legs outstretched with one foot each side of the front wheel. At low speeds, the vehicle is supported by a small wheel each side, which can be lifted at higher speeds. These slide wheels can be operated by the driver's feet so as to balance the vehicle at corners, or to oppose strong winds, or to clear the pavement. Alternatively the wheels can be lifted by a system when the speed increases, and the lifting action is spring assisted. The rear wheel can also be displaced assisted by a gyroscopical stabiliser ensuring automatic stability of the vehicle.
