Solar heat generator coupled to photovoltaic generator - uses fluid pipes set into bituminous surface of path or drive-way, and photovoltaic array to power circulation pumps

The solar energy is gathered for heating by laying the working fluid pipes in a bituminous material which may be used as a path or driveway surface. In addition the electrical energy to drive the working fluid circulation pumps is obtained from a photo-voltaic array converting solar energy to electric energy. The working fluid pipes are laid in a serpentine configuration over a thermally non-conducting base. The pipes are set into a bituminous layer and a surface of heat retaining tiles is laid over the pipes, then covered with a bituminous or decorative (non-reflective) surface coating. A photo voltaic cell array may be laid on the ground or some other suitable surface to obtain electric energy for the working fluid circulation pumps.
