PURPOSE:To make complicated molding easy, by performing the modeling sequentially, based on the geometric characteristic amount of a polygon (polyhedron) comprising tangential line and chordal series made with a position vector and a tangential vector given on its point. CONSTITUTION:A control start point of molding is determined as a basic shape, a tangential vector is given on its point and chordal and tangential line series are obtained. Based on the shape formed with the obtained tangential line and chordal series, the geometrical characteristic amount is obtained and points are determined in a space formed with the tangential line and chordal series so that the shape to be constituted is satisfied. The tangential vector is given so that the characteristics of the shape to be formed on the point. Until the shape is formed in the range of required accuracy, the determined point is taken as a new control point and this work is repeated. For example, a triangle ABC comprising the tangential line and chordal series is taken as a basic shape, and unbalanced amount such as area, length and angles with an attended isosceles triangle ABC' is used as the geometrical characteristic amount. Thus, complicated curved line and surface are modeled freely.
