Uretdione-containing diisocyanates, process for the preparation of thermosetting oligo-addition products, and their use in the preparation of highly molecular resins

The novel uretdione-containing diisocyanate of the formula IMAGE and process for the preparation of thermosetting oligo-addition products which have aromatically bonded primary amino groups and uretdione groups, by reacting the novel diisocyanate with organic compounds having at least two aromatically bonded primary amino groups, of a molecular weight range of 500 to 10,000, while retaining a molar NCO/NH2 ratio of 1:1.05 to 1:2, and the use of the oligo-addition products which can be obtained in this process for the production of high-molecular plastics which have urea groups, by heating the oligo-addition products to a temperature above 130 DEG C.
