Motor vehicle map reading device - has light and accepts maps in strip form on driven spools in interchangeable cassettes

The device is intended as an aid in reading road maps, particularly in a motor vehicle. The maps are arranged on a film strip in a cassette with two spools, drivable in either direction to present an area of the strip between the spools under a light arranged above it. The reading device accepts different cassettes and is pref. provided with motors to drive the spools in response to operation of one or another push-button switch. The cassettes are preferably in transparent plastics.
