A booklet is proposed which can be folded in the manner of a book and is designed, in particular, as a pocket diary and/or pocket notebook and/or pocket address book or the like. Between its rigid front and rear folding covers the booklet has a magnetic closure which holds the two folding covers closed by magnetism, or automatically closes on closure of the opened booklet . For this purpose, each folding cover has on its inside a cover part of magnetic rubber with magnetised particles invisibly integrated therein on the inside. On the outside, both cover parts are laminated with at least one outer layer, which connects the two cover parts, is continuous in the region of the spine of the booklet and is flexible at least there in the manner of a hinge. In this region, the two cover parts are separated by an incision, which however extends only to the outer layer.
