The compsn. comprises at least 2 deodorising cpds. from (1) 2-10C alpha-hydroxyaliphatic acids; (2) 1-4C alkyl esters of (1); (3) 2-10C hydroxyalkyl monoamines; (4) 2-10C alkane diols; (5) Ca, Al, Mg or Zn salts of an alpha-hydroxy unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acid having at least 17C; provided that the 2 cpds. are chosen from different classes, and when the compsn. comprises a mixt. a triethanolamine and zind recinoleate it also contains a third cpd. from any class. The compsn. is prepd. by mixing and packing into an applicator or distribution appts. The compsn. is applied to the skin using an aerosol, a ball applicator or as a cream lotion or gel. The compsn. is effective without the use of anti-perspirants such as Al salts normally used.
