The subsoil plough comprises a chassis which includes two sets of guide rails (7, 7a), the plough arm (9) being mounted between on a front pivot (10). The rear upper edge (9b) of the arm is also attached by a pivot (12) to the rods (13) of an hydraulic cylinder (14, 15) mounted between trunnions (16, 17). The pressure in the hydraulic circuits maintained by pressurised gas and normally maintains the arm in the working position, permitting some deflection under the effect of small obstacles. Larger obstacles overcome this preset pressure, the arm swinging upwards and returns to the working position after passing the obstacle.
