The reducer has a cylindrical drum, and closed at two ends. At least one of these, at the crusher front, has a central opening (5) for the products for crushing and to place and extract bars. When the crusher has stopped rotating there is fitted, inside it, and above the load of bars (6), two slings (8,9). The length of these is adjusted as well as their attachments (10b,11b) on the cylinder so that, after a turn of the crusher, the load bars on the slings has its front end roughly at the level of the central opening.
