The roller drum carries the blind and at one end its axle sits in a square end box which has holes in its corners for fixing screws and an internal cylindrical seating for the drum axle. The other axle end fits into the square section bore of the reversible coupling which has drive blades on its outside. These cooperate with the endless screw driven by the tangent wheel and the cord. This end cover box is in two parts, one forming a cover and bearing for the reversible coupling, the other forming a cover and guide for the tangent wheel.
