Binding cover for case - is fitted by double adhesive strips and protectors on insides

The retainer fixes the flat insides (1,2) of a cover on a case (7) with an open side (8). It uses double faced adhesive strips (3,5) with protectors (4,6) fixed on the flat insides. The surface provided for the adhesives is limited to the part contacting the case on the flats. The strips can be of any shape and can cover all or part of the contact surfaces and they are fixed separately. One flat (2) allows the case to slide so that it may be positioned on it, pressing against the back (9) of the cover.
