PURPOSE:To make the whole of an installation small in size and to reduce the installation cost by providing a means for supplying a secondary raw material to the midway of a barrel of a cylindrical mixer and utilizing the first half of the mixing machine as a primary mixer and the latter half as a secondary mixer. CONSTITUTION:The raw material 11 received from a raw material tank 1 through a conveyor 2, etc. is mixed primarily in a primary mixer 8a. A secondary raw material 5a is added to the further conveyed raw material, and mixed in a secondary mixer 8b. In this mixer system for supplying raw materials to a sintering machine, the primary mixer is combined with the secondary mixer to one body of a cylindrical mixer, and a plural numbers of scoop feeders 10 are provided to the middle part of the barrel of the cylindrical mixer 8 from the barrel radially toward the central axis of the barrel penetrating the wall of the barrel. A stationary chute 9 which seals the siding surface between the barrel by enclosing the outsdie peripheral surface of the feeder 10 and having also a charging port 9a of the raw material is also provided. By this constitution, a transporting device between the primary mixer and the secondary mixer becomes un necessary. Therefore, the installation is made small in size and a mixer for feeding raw materials to a sintering machine is produced inexpensively.
