SURFACE ACTIVE AGENT MICELLE INCLUDING IRON (2) PORPHYRIN COMPLEX AND AGENT FOR ADSOPTION AND DESORPTION OF OXYGEN

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an agent for the adsorption and desorption of oxygen, consisting of an aqueous micelle of a surface active agent containing a specific iron (II) porphyrin complex as guest molecule, and capable of reversibly adsorbing and desorbing oxygen in an aqueous system or in a water-containing solvent system at room temperature by the difference of oxygen partial pressure. CONSTITUTION:The iron (II) porphyrin complex of formula (R1 is a group which does not inhibit the coordination of the bonded imidazole group to the central iron atom, especially methyl, ethyl or propyl; R2-R4 are H and at least one of them is hydrophobic substituent group, especially R3 and R4 are H and R2 is 5-30C alkyl, trityl, substituted trityl, or carboxylic acid alkyl ester residue) is included in an aqueous micelle of a surface active agent. The amount of the surface active agent is preferably =1,000g per 1mol of the complex. The above complex included in the micelle forms an oxygen complex even in a water-containing system at room temperature, and the clathrate inclusion compound is useful as an agent for the adsorption and desorption of oxygen active even in the presence of water at room temperature.
