Controller on a pile-driver, designed for driving a tube-shaped post (1) into the ground, comprising a drop weight (2), which is movable along the lengthwise direction of the post (1) and which, through a free fall on a rabbit (18) on the post (1), produces a blow by which the post (1) is driven down, at which the drop weight (2) is connected with a lifting device (3) via a mast (10) placed at the side of the post e.g. on a banded work platform as well as including a lengthwise guide rail (13), which is encased in the post (1) and along so that the post (1) can slide under this as it is driven into the ground, the guide rail (13) is firmly adhered to the mast (10) during the striking process. The guide rail (13) is parallel with the mast (10) and the mast (10) is vertically adjustable with the help of e.g. a spirit level.IMAGE
