Insecticidal compositions based on the esters of (S) alledrone and (R) alledrone

Compositions contg. 90-60% of d-trans-chrysanthemate of (S)-1-oxo-2-allyl-3-methylcyclopent-2-en-4-yl and 40-10% of d-trans-chrysanthemate of (R)-1-oxo-2-allyl-3-methylcyclo - pent-2-en-4-yl were prepd. for the purpose of killing arthropods. For example, a mixt. contg. 75% (S)-bioallethrone and 25% (R)-bioallethrone has a synergistic effect when used to kill arthropods, especially ixodides and sarcoptides.
