Rear light cluster for civil and military vehicles - has shaded bulbs in identical housings each in separate compartment in adaptable cluster

The rear lamp cluster is for civil and military vehicles which may have special filters for a variety of situations. The clusters are identical and are simply turned through 180 deg. to be suitable for either side of the vehicle. The cluster has five separate bulbs within a compartmented housing and has five functions; left and right indicators, rear light (shaded and civil) and shaded and civil stop lights. Each of five bulbs has a separate compartment, the shaded lights (12) being above and below the central compartment (4). The compartments of these two lamps are defined by two opaque 'U' shaped channels (14, 15) bolted base to base and sandwiching a colour filter (17) between them. The upper channel pair has tow pairs of approx. triangular cut-ots and the lower a single triangular cut-out both cut-out forms providing the shaded illumination.
