Aerial vehicle head=up type pilot aid system security device - modulates display control signal with flight parameters at character generator

The security device has a number of pick-ups (Cp1...Cp7) of different flight parameters which are connected via a central computer (0) or an A/D converter or directly to a transmission channel (D) terminating at a symbol generator (G5) of the parameters. The symbol generator itself controls the display device, e.g. a CRT of the head-up collimator (CTH). The equipment allots control signals (Y,Z) to one of the display devices. There are devices (My,Mz) for modulating the control signal (Y or Z) in its control range with the value with which one at least, of the flight parameters has attained in the symbol generator. The parameter of the modulated control signal is extracted at the level of the display device (CTH) and compared with the same parameter as determined by a corresponding surveillance pick-up (Cs1.....). An alarm device (A) is triggered when the difference between the compared values of the same parameter exceeds predetermined limits.
