ADJUSTED POINT ILLUSTRATION DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION OF DIGITAL MULTIMETER

PURPOSE:To enable the calibration of a meter for a shorter time by selecting an adjusting trimmer corresponding to an error voltage. CONSTITUTION:A start signal outputted from a microcomputer 11 is inputted into a standard meter 1 via a bus 15-interface 14 to turn ON a switch 3 of the meter 1 and a standard voltage (Es)4 (to be 1.8V) is indicated on an indication plate 6 while the standard voltage (E4)4 is inputted into the input terminal 5- lead 10-input terminal 7 to be indicated on an indication plate 8 of a meter 2. When the indication value is 1.7V, it is inputted into the microcomputer 11 via the interface 16 lead 17 bus 15. The data of the 1.7V is detected with a CPU18 and as a result, the number of a specific trimmer for adjustment in an adjusting point 9 of the meter 2 is read out from a memory and the trimmer number, for example, 9-8 is shown on a display 20. If necessary, the number of the trimmer for adjustment is printed on a printer 13. Observing this number of the trimmer for adjustment, a meter calibration worker adjusts the adjusting trimmer 9 of the meter 2 to be calibrated so as to hold the meter within a prescribed value.
