PURPOSE:To obtain a prescribed contact using destination display diagram, excess contact display diagram and device terminal code display diagram information by providing a device terminal master file circuit diagram sumbol master file and a using designation display frame diagram file, storing a required data in advance to apply data processing. CONSTITUTION:A device symbol used for generating an elemantary wiring diagram is stored in a circuit diagram symbol library 101 and displayed on a diagram display screen of a graphic display device 102 as a visual grupbic. An automatic decision processing section 301 of contact device terminal code finds out a location where the device terminal code is not described from a data of a circuit diagram graphic data file 105 to allocate the device terminal code. As to the data of the parts described already, its rationality is checked. A contact using destination display diagram file forming processing section 304 arranges the decided data with a correspondence between prescribed diagram number and page number and the graphic is called as required on the diagram display screen on the graphic display device 102.
