SLUDGE TREATMENT PROCESS FOR SPILL WATER TREATMENT THEREOF AND EARLY DEWATERING STABILIZATION OF DREDGED SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To treat a great amount of generated effluent water by a most economical and simplified method by discharging water separated from dredged sludge thrown away in a reclaiming site to a predetermined position through a drain pipe provided in the reclaiming site. CONSTITUTION:Sludge thrown away in a reclaiming site through the conduit 7 from a dredging pump is separated into the concentrated slduge 8 and the water 9 by coagulation and sedimentation by a coagulant or natural sedimentation. The separated water passes through innumerable fine pores in the drain pipe 2 and gathers in the drain pipe 2 from which the water is further collected through the suction pipe 3 and the water collection pipe 4 and then discharged to a predetermined position. Since SS present in the separated water is removed during passage through the drain pipe 2 but water-soluble harmful substances, if any, present in the sludge is not removed, the granular adsorbent 8', e.g., active carbon, etc., is packed in the drain pipe 2 to remove harmful substances present in the separated water coming through the drain pipe 2, and then the collected water is discharged through the water collection pipe 4 and then the discharge pipe 6.
