A working table for sheet-metal shears, principally for cutting large metal sheets, having adjustable stops mounted on brackets. On the edge of the working table, brackets which are perpendicular to the cutting edge of the sheet-metal shears are displaceably mounted in parallel with the cutting edge of the sheet-metal shears, while stop bolts which can be countersunk beneath the surface of the working table are located in guideways formed along the longitudinal axis of the brackets.
