Rain water and sewage system for dwelling - includes buffer tank with over flow and by=pass between rain-water drain and buffer tank

The sewer drainage and rainwater drainage combine into a septic tank, from where an overflow connects to a catch pit with discharge pipe. A bypass is included between the rain water drain and buffer tank. The dwelling (10) has sink (11), bath (12) and W.C. (15) connected to main sewer (15). Rain water drainage is via a gutter (18) and down a corner pipe (19) and also enters the main sewer. A so-called vent pipe (17) branches off just before the main sewer connection. From the sewer pipe, the effluent and rain water runs to a septic tank (20) which has an overflow to a buffer tank (22) with underground discharge openings.
