Abstract of the DisclosureAn inexpensive and easily used paint for applyingspectral-selective coatings consists of spectral-selectivepigment, reflective metal particles, binder and, if desired,other components with or without a liquid vehicle, thespectral-selective pigment being combined with a binder and,if desired, a liquid vehicle, and the reflective metalparticles being added to the resulting pigment dispersion.A coating of the paint on a base provides a solar heatabsorbing device for use in a solar collector.
