METHOD OF MAKING SEVEN TREASURES CHINAWARE

The body of the chinaware is pressed by a dry or semi-dry type mold. It is sintered at 1200-1400C, decorated with the seven treasures figures and fired again at 700C. In the pressing process, polyethylene film of 0.01-0.03 m/m thickness is interposed between the mold and the body. In the semi-dry type pressing process, CMC solution is spread on the body. This makes the body adhesive so the original shape of chinaware is retained.
