The invention relates to a system for making travel information more dynamic to help give an insight into the cultural, historical and social backgrounds of an individual travel experience, in particular for reproducing information, such as the description of scenery passed through by travellers, which system has a sound-reproducing device (2) with a two-track audio cassette (3), of which the one track has the travel information to be reproduced, whereas marking signals (5, 5a) in the form of control pulses predetermining the length of the switch-off pause are stored on the other track for the purpose of limiting recording sections (6), and a pulse transformer (30), which passes a control pulse to a control unit (40), which in the switch-off or pause time switches the radio/cassette unit (2) to radio mode and which contains an automatic control unit, by means of which the pause duration can be manually influenced and adapted to the individual travelling speed, thereby providing a system by means of which travellers can be given access to information on a particular route without the vehicle making a special stop and at the same time as the vehicle travels along the route (Fig. 2).
