A method is provided for improving the vegetation conditions for outdoor crops and for eliminating diseases, for example the death of the forests [due to pollution], which comprises compensating for CO2 deficiency in open fields and forests by delivering to the soil water which has been subjected to fine impregnation with CO2, thus providing vital amounts of carbonic acid H2CO3 in the soil, whereby soluble plant nutrients can be taken up via the root system.
