Flow-swirling devices are arranged in a heating boiler with residual heating-surface flues leading from the combustion chamber to the flue-gas collecting chamber. To be able to influence, in certain operating phases, the level of the waste-gas temperature, the at least one flow-swirling device (1) is provided in the at least one heating-surface flue (2), at its outlet end (3), with an adjusting element (5) displaceably mounted in the flue-gas collecting chamber (4).
